Experience the Wonderful Marina del Rey Area!

Pacifica Hotel Company has partnered with Fodor's Travel to produce a comprehensive California Coastal Travel Guide. This guide provides information on the best places to explore, the best beaches and the most popular area attractions in each region on the California Coast. Please click here to download the guide and start planning your own exploration of the California Coast.

There are several self guided walking tours in around the marina that will allow you an up close and personal experience of our beautiful Marina del Rey community. Click here to view and download the Walking Tour Maps of Marina del Rey.

The Marina del Rey area is just a stone's throw from Los Angeles, but miles away in attitude. Perhaps its biggest claim to fame is the manmade marina, which is the largest harbor for small boats in the world.

The area surrounding Marina del Rey is marked by eclectic shopping, first-rate waterfront dining, condos, and luxury hotels. To the east, along Lincoln Blvd., there are also many interesting shops. To reach Marina del Rey, visitors from Los Angeles may take 1-10 west and then I-405 south 90 West. The Marina del Rey area is also located just 4 miles north of the Los Angeles International Airport.

For visitor information on waterfront hotels, outdoor dining, recreational boating and special events in L.A.'s only yacht harbor resort destination, Marina del Rey, please visit the official website of the Marina del Rey Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Take advantage to leisurely explore the local delights without resorting to the automobile. An intricate network of strolling trails, bike paths, canals and protected waterways allow you to take in the beaches, stunning houses, parks and gardens – even an endearing New England-style fishing village!
