Explore the Area Parks and Beaches Near the Marina del Rey Hotel

Marina del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica, and Malibu all offer beautiful beaches that highlight California's natural beauty. Here are a few of the parks and beaches near our hotel:

Mother's Beach
This 4-acre Marine Park is aptly named because the calm waters are a perfect spot for parents with small children. This area also offers a grass lawn, volleyball courts and restrooms.

Venice Beach
This three-mile stretch of beach is adjacent to Ocean Front Walk, one of the best spots in California for people-watching.

Santa Monica Beach
This popular 3.5 mile beach is cleaned and raked each day, and it's not uncommon to see dolphins just offshore.

Playa del Rey
Just south of Marina del Rey, this area is best accessed by bicycle or walking.

Malibu Beach
Park at Zuma beach, but arrive early since the lots fill up. Alcohol is strictly not allowed.

Burton Chace Park
Great for picnics overlooking the Marina's main channel. The 10-acre parks also features summer concerts and more.

Aubrey E. Austin Jr. Park
Overlooks the main channel and offers benches amid beautiful greenery.

Admiralty Park
Check out the weekend art show at Admiralty Park, stretching along Admiralty Way. Also features jogging/skating paths and a duck pond.
